Guided Imagery:
"A Zen-inspired blend of meditation, breathing exercises and focus techniques are in vogue in corporate America—championed by blue-chip employers like Google Inc. and General Mills Inc. as a simple but potent mind-sharpening tool."
Gershman, Jacob. "Lawyers Go Zen, With Few Objections." WSJ. June 18, 2015. Accessed September 20, 2015 by Starfish, E603A
"I guess, in reality, we're all mysteries, even to ourselves. Perhaps, that's why Alice is so inexplicably relatable." Lauren 9-15 blog
The Mad Hatter: "There is a place. Like no place on Earth. A land full of wonder, mystery, and danger! Some say to survive it: You need to be as mad as a hatter. [picks up his hat] Which luckily I am." provided by Cody
New Guided imagery more in tune with Sylvie and her attempts to be compassionate to others. With the split between Sylvie and Bruno Carroll no longer needs to combine them in one person and the idealized, ostensibly more feminine (at least in the Victorian era) feature of compassion, can be expressed more clearly and consistently. We, of course, an see this is an inspiration to be more compassionate to each other in Best and Worst, but notice that in this guided imagery compassion is extended to all species.
Best
