There are two main ways to get out to our place from Austin by car. Allow an hour or so to get there .

How to get to EDEN, formerly THE DOAK HOUSE (built in 1860),

SECTION I: TWO WAYS TO GET TO HIGHWAY 79

1.The obvious way and fastest way, from campus take MLK East (it becomes 969) to the 130 toll road. Take a left under the toll road and head North up the ramp. (If you don't have TexTag they will mail you the toll bills.) Get off at 79 (preceding signs say "Hutto, "Dell Diamond,"etc.

2.The fastest way avoiding toll roads: take I35 North to Round Rock, and get off at 79, make a right, heading East.

SECTION II: HIGHWAY 79

Whatever way you take, get on 79 heading EAST toward Hutto, Taylor, Rockdale, Hearn, etc.

After you go through Hutto, you are only eight miles from Taylor. Once you are in Taylor,
